Double Delight: Rolex Launches The Rolex Submariner Two Tone Watches
Rolex is a name that has long been associated with a performance that redefines precision. To own a Rolex is not only a matter of immense pride but also an exclusive experience which it offers to its wearer. It provides a savoir-faire that is unparalleled. A Rolex is not merely a name in luxury but it is also a privilege of a few. Rolex knows this and its constant endeavor is to offer to its clients a range as varied as it can get but Rolex makes sure that it doesn’t compromise on quality for the sake of excelling in the field of exclusive watches. Rolex can claim loyalists because it has always prioritized newness and added the Rolex flavor to it.
The Rolex Submariner has been a long favorite of watch lovers, collectors and wearers over the world, and so Rolex wanted to reinvent the Submariner keeping in tune with the changing times. To experiment with a model that has aged gracefully riding on its popularity over the years is a daunting task. But Rolex has not gone back on their promise to deliver the best always. The Submariner now comes in a dual toned solid stainless steel case and an 18k Gold plated two tone solid stainless steel bracelet strap. The bands are linked together by screws that are threaded in a meshwork. The time indicating hands have gone through uplift and as a result of the projected effect it is easier to read time from a distance. The double delight continues as the aluminum bezel is replaced by a new high-end ceramic bezel. The aluminum bezel had a tendency to get easily scratched and the ceramic exterior now ensures that your prized possession is saved against any wear. The bezel has a provision for the numerical to be bedded in and prevent from abrasion. The style of this kind of a bezel is borrowed from the GMT Master and the Deep Sea Sea-Dweller models and Rolex has integrated it beautifully onto the Submariner.
The protrusion of the dial is something that Rolex fondly calls a “Maxi-dial”. The case size is the standard Submariner 42 mm and the gold connection continues through the gold accents on the bezel, dial and if that were not enough onto the gold center link on the bracelet. The Submariner’s also a golden dual delight, as the watch has gold hands and indicators on the face of the dial. If you’re not a gold fan the all steel case version also comes with a white gold on the face option.
The selection of the color blue suits the Submariner perfectly. The lume that had been an envious green all along now turns a tranquil blue. The golden hands are highlighted in blue and offer cent percent clarity underwater. Rolex garners a beautiful tradition of keeping the Rolex family together, where each watch is different from the other but also borrows certain traits that make them a part of the Rolex lineage. Like the Sea-Dweller, the lume on the bezel of the Submariner is enclosed in a small case to save against damage from the forces. The Submariner is a watch that you could wear to a club or to an official meeting with equal élan. And so Rolex ensures that to lend the Submariner a mature look the case has to come in a brushed finish. The other parts of the watch make do with a glazed look. The dual toned Rolex Submariner like other Rolex watches is a certified chronometer and since at Rolex change is the only constant the Submariner in its new dual effect dazzles and delivers.
