Laura Regan And Rolex Cellini Orchid Keep It Short And Simple

Laura Regan

Rolex watches have since long maintained a distance from the regularities that would define a luxury watch in every way possible. Rolex watches have their own definitions of luxury and they like to keep it very short and simple. Rolex has very thoroughly understood that the impact that something which is simple, yet elegant can create as opposed to something that may be expensive but turns out to be an ostentatious display of wealth. Rolex will incorporate all possible ways to make sure that the watch exudes classiness in every way possible especially through its design but it also makes sure that the watch will not be an assortment of jewels.

The Rolex Cellini Orchid personifies this character of the watch, starting from finding ways to make this watch come across as an extremely classy and elegant time keeper to actually making sure that every promise that the Rolex makes it delivers. The Rolex Cellini Orchid in every possible way likes that which is short and simple. Laura Regan relates to the simplicity of an ideology in ways that many people can’t, she has always made sure that her performances never lose the essence of a great role.

Laura Regan has always been interested in theatre, building her career in acting from where it usually begins. The art of ballet that the actress trained herself in lent to her acting performances a natural grace that came across vividly in the performances that the she passionately enacts in her film/series roles. The very first film bagged by the actress was M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable, the actress delivering a performance that belied her experience. Her other role that also brought her a lot of attention was in Robert Harmon’s They. Laura Regan has also been the recipient of an award from the Annual Atlantic Film Festival for her contribution in My Little Eye. The actress has also lent her acting talent to Saving Jessica Lynch, Someone Like You, Hollow Man 2, Dead Silence and made an appearance in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Rolex Cellini Orchid

The Rolex Cellini Orchid is a superlative chronometer that offers to the wearer always more than she can ask for. The kind of watchmaking that Rolex has made a name for itself in is what one would call luxurious because when it comes to luxurious watches Rolex is a far cry from the regular luxury brands in watch making. The Rolex Cellini Orchid is in every sense of the term a one in a million watch. The style that the Rolex Cellini Orchid offers together with the performance that the watch can truly vouch for makes the watch a lot more than just another Rolex watch. The Rolex Cellini Orchid is what it exudes through every diamond bit that forms a part of the watch, an extremely classy watch that is worth the investment in it.

The watch is strictly feminine, in more ways than one, the Rolex Cellini Orchid has a gem set case that is adorned in diamonds all over, the watch is also fitted with diamond markers. The Rolex Cellini Orchid also has a bracelet giving the wearer to either choose between a leather strap and a gem set adorned bracelet. The Rolex Cellini Orchid has an 18ct yellow gold finish and when set in contrast with the white mother of pearl finish of the dial of the watch the Rolex Cellini Orchid truly sets itself apart from other luxury watches. The Rolex Cellini Orchid like Laura Regan very evidently and very effectively likes to keep things short and simple.

Voting For ISAF Rolex World Sailor Of The Year Awards 2009 Concludes

ISAF Rolex World Sailor 2009

With the voting process already wrapped up, everyone’s attention is now focused towards the presentation and dinner at the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards that will take place on Tuesday 10 November 2009. The scheduled venue for the announcement of winners is the Busan Yacht Club, Busan, Korea. After all the grueling sailing events and tough competition that the sailors go through being rewarded at this prestigious ceremony makes it all worth it. Each of the winners shall be honored with the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Award Trophy and a unique Rolex timepiece.

Rolex stands for excellence in the world of watch making and through its association with sporting events it hopes to bring forth and reward the sporting world’s best talent. Being a part of Rolex sponsored events itself is an honor for any sportsperson. All the competing sportspersons are the best in their field and also bring nothing less than the best to the competition. However, when the reward happens to be a Rolex timepiece along with the trophy, for sure it gives them the extra motivation to deliver par excellence.

ISAF MNAs (Member National Authorities) is the national governing body for sailing the world over. Each MNA is supposed to vote for the one male and one female sailor who they believe is the most deserving and rightful candidate for the award. This year too the ISAF MNAs have selected the deserving winners for the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards. The nominees and winners were chosen on the basis of their achievements during the qualifying period beginning September 1 2008 to August 31 2009.

ISAF Rolex World Sailor Of The Year Awards Trophy

The female nominees this year include Sam Davies (GBR), Hilary Lister (GBR), Blanca Manchón (ESP) and Anna Tunnicliffe (USA). The male nominees include Pascal Bidégorry (FRA), Michel Desjoyeaux (FRA), Paul Goodison (GBR), Torben Grael (BRA) and Nathan Outteridge (AUS). It is a close call and the MNAs have a tough decision on their hands as all of the nominees have proved their excellence on the waves. To be able to compete in Rolex events and emerge as the winner itself is quite a task and tests sportspersons to the extreme. And with the world’s best sailing talent making it to the nomination list, the MNAs had some very difficult choice to make.

Each nominee has a brilliant list of achievements to add to his or her credit and thereby to the confusion of the MNAs. With the Busan Yacht Club in Korea chosen as the picturesque venue for the announcement, the effort of the sailors and the MNAs would be aptly rewarded. The club is located close to the famous Haeundae Beach and Dalmaji Hill. The club also offers shark diving at the Busan Aquarium. From sailing with the sharks at the competition to diving with them at the Busan Yacht Club will definitely help the sharks of the sailing world bond with the sharks of the ocean. Rolex not only makes its events special but the reward ceremonies prove to be as extravagant as the competitions.

Torri Higginson And The Rolex Cellini Danaos Know That Details Rule The World

Tori Higginson

Rolex watches are always in demand from people who invest in watches and don’t merely buy them. Rolex is a name in excellence when it comes to watch making and when Rolex tabs an association with the wearer it does so for a lifetime. The Cellini collection had been founded with the specific purpose of getting to people what they liked. Rolex had spent years deciphering the individual tastes of people and hence making Rolex watches had been a craft as involved as it can get. The Cellini collection offers more than mere watch making, it gives to people what is called an experience of a lifetime, making a great deal out of the smallest details that go into constructing the finesse of the watch. The Rolex Cellini Danaos is an extremely suitable watch for those who appreciate professionalism and punctuality. The Rolex watches are crafted in a manner that makes these watches more than just a mere time keeper. Rolex Cellini watches always make it a point to cover the distance between luxury and comfort. What makes the Rolex Cellini watch a class apart from other watches is the fact that these watches are always at par with human excellence. Rolex Cellini Danaos is a watch that is a far cry from the typical luxury watches; Rolex doesn’t prioritize its design as much as it does the performance that is delivered by these watches. Torri Higginson has come a long way in her life performing nuanced characters and perfecting the art of acting to the t.

The Canadian actress has lent her acting credits to films like TekWar, the entire series of it, the award Rolex Cellini Danaos
winning film English Patient and Stargate Atlantis. She has always prioritized the importance of detailing in her character roles because the industry knows that what makes or breaks a character is the detailing that goes into the performance. The actress has also lent her acting talent to the film Jungleground. Torri Higginson has won the Gemini Award in the year 2000 for her role in The City and also grabbed the Saturn Award in 2005 for Stargate Atlantis. The actress is awaiting the release of her film Smile of April this year.

The Rolex Cellini Danaos combines a rare mix of pink and white gold in a way that maybe many watches have tried before but have not made the kind of impact that this watch has been able to make. The black dial of the watch perfectly complements that rest of the finish of the watch. The Rolex Cellini Danaos is also equipped with a brown leather strap that keeps the watch inspiring the wearer to always strive to do the best that he/she can for themselves. The watch keeping in sync with the need of the times carries a quartz movement that makes the watch a delight to own. The Rolex Cellini Danaos is extremely detailed in both its appearance and performance and like Tori Higginson knows that the success of things lies mostly in the fact that a lot of detailing has gone into perfecting it.

There are a total of 10 boats per 10 teams and this helps the participants to compete to their heart’s content and stretch the boundaries of their talent. What draws hordes of entries each year and makes the event such a success is the fact that it is a light hearted competitive event, that eases the rough edges of a strong competition where each team is trying to outdo the other. The Rolex Osprey Cup like the excellence that Rolex serves commits itself to celebrating the joie de vivre of participation and the best sailing talents coming together to challenge the sea.

St. Petersburg Yacht Club that proudly hosts the event with Rolex has already announced a list of skippers for the event, topping which list is 2008 Olympian Anne Claire Le Berre, who will face competition from last week’s 2009 Rolex International Women’s Keelboat Championship, and last year’s defending champion and 2008 Olympian Giulia Conti. The Rolex Osprey Cup celebrates the competence that women can display when it comes to doing what they do best. Each participant in the event has been finalized for the element ofRolex Osprey Cup uniqueness that they can bring into the event. The Rolex Osprey Cup recognizes the fact that just like Rolex which always sees through every commitment it makes towards delivering to people what is the best possible design and accuracy in time keeping, women always endeavor to make the best bargain out of a situation. Clearly, these competitors are beyond any parameters of gender, they are the best that the field of sailing can offer, making every hour that is spent in practicing for the game seem like the hour that will make or break the situation.

The Rolex Osprey Cup that is one of the three ISAF Grade 1 match race regattas is also geared up to make its debut at the 2012 Olympics that will be held in England. The teams participating in the event this year are most excited about the fact that this event presents an extremely relaxed atmosphere and teams are given the opportunity to interact with each other in a way that nullifies the need for bearing any hard feelings towards the competitors. Most of the teams that make up this year’s participants are names that have had previous experience competing in Rolex events. This year’s event shows a greater participation from teams who have competed earlier in other Rolex events, as a result of which the level of competition though lightly taken has reached higher levels. Taking apart everything else the event is sure to garner a huge response from fans across the world and add another year of success to the Rolex Osprey Cup history!

Daniel Etter Wins Opening Leg Of 2009/2010 Rolex FEI World Cup

Rolex FEI Wolrd Cup, 2009/2010

Switzerland seems to dominate the Rolex FEI World Cup as Daniel Etter produced an outstanding win at the opening leg of the 2009/2010 Jumping Western European League series in Oslo, Norway. After having contributed to his country’s team with a performance that won him a gold medal at the Alltech FEI European Jumping Championships at Windsor in England this summer, the rider from Berne all of 34 years showed that he and his marvelous campaigner, Peu a Peu, are still in great form. Daniel Etter’s team-mate Pius Schwizer slotted into second with Ulysse further adding to the current strength of the Swiss.

The beginning of the 13 legs in the Western European League of the 2009/2010 Rolex FEI World Cup Jumping series saw a total of 16 riders from different nations come together. 12 combinations qualified for the second-round jump-off. This included two from Switzerland and The Netherlands each and a total of four from Germany.

The venue for the competition was the new and impressive Telenor Soccer Stadium just outside Oslo city where the 16 riders were faced with 13 fences on the first-round track. Earlier the Oslo fixture was considered as an easy target for early points in the winter-long series but now with a classy field, including six of the top ten in the latest Rolex World Rankings the points are harder to win this time around.

The most difficult fence in the first round proved to be the triple combination at fence four and specially the middle element. The middle element oxer hit the floor 15 times and 19 riders could not help but fault at fence four. Out of the 40 starters only 12 could produce clear first rounds and thus qualify for the jump-off. Brazil’s Rodrigo Pessoa (Champ) and Norway’s Line Raaholt (Royal Son Z) were the two riders that retired on the course in the very first round.

Rolex

Inspite of the challenging fences Daniel Etter and his gelding Peu a Peu gave an outstanding performance and touted Peu a Peu as one of the toughest horses around. The big and bold horse seems to be more in love with his job than ever as their excellent results at the Windsor Europeans was almost instantly followed by a trip to the Masters at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Canada. Daniel Etter definitely considered himself lucky to have picked up a win early into the World Cup season so that he could get that points and relax a bit later. His gelding definitely adds on to the luck factor as he has always been an extremely sound companion.

Daniel Etter will be at the next leg of the Rolex FEI World Cup Jumping series next Sunday in Helsinki, Finland. Two weeks later he will be in Lyon, France before he takes off to compete at the Global Champions Tour Final in Doha, Qatar, next month. This is the kind of excellence and commitment Rolex promotes with the events it sponsors and associates itself with. Rolex has been a pioneer and one to define what world-class watch-making means. Similarly, Rolex rewards individuals who deliver their best in each competition and strive to excel every time.
