Previous Rolex Sailor Of The Year Derek Hatfield Is All Set To Take The World By Storm

Derek Hatfield

A man who won the 2003 Canadian Rolex Sailor of the Year in 2003 has imbibed the spirit of Rolex and the drive of a Rolex achiever into his system in such a manner that winning has become a part of his life. Winners who are passionate about their game know that a lot of hard work and sweat goes behind creating moments when they can successfully outdo the competition. They tackle each challenge as it comes, never complacently putting all challenges into the same category and mistaking them as one and similar. Similarly for Rolex, even if it is only premium luxury watches that they limit their creations what is important is to note is the fact that each watch that comes from the Rolex house of superlative watch making, carries with it a distinctiveness that is unrepeatable. The only commonality between the watches is the fact that they all carry the Rolex trademark of delivering perfection and accuracy in terms of the time that they display.

Derek Hatfield besides having been a Canadian Rolex Sailor of the year has also been the 126th person in history to have finished a race single handedly race around the world. This is a feat that not many have been able to achieve for more reasons than one. He competed in the Open 40 Spirit of Canada, an event that has competitors coming from all around the world and presenting the best in the world of water sports. Derek Hatfield created history on the waves when he finished first in his fleet and garnered the third place overall in the Around Alone Race. The moment that touched every sports enthusiasts heart was the fact that despite almost facing a moment when the boat was about to go through a catastrophic capsize the skilled sailor sailed through the accident with an aplomb that displayed his perfection with the skill.

He has recently announced that he is looking at taking up the Velux 5 Oceans 2010-11 as his next challenge and rest assured the offshore sailor will come out with flying colors in this event as well. This will be the sailor’s third all around the world event after the Around Alone in 2002 and the Vendee Globe in 2008.Rolex Sailor of the Year Derek Hatfield is confident that the experience that he has gathered from the above will go a long way in creating a psychological challenge for the game and is also hopeful that the obstacles will even themselves out because the determination that the sailor will bring on board will be a roller of an experience.

Associated with the Spirit of Canada team Derek Hatfield also teamed up with the club to organize the first Open 60 in Canada. The event may have carved a hole in Derek Hatfield’s otherwise untarnished sailing profile because it was prone with accidents and his boat also sustained massive mast damage when it rolled over in the Southern Ocean. However, like all great sailors Derek Hatfield reflecting the Rolex never die spirit knows that such incidents are only tests that one has to live through and if one comes out a winner by the end of it the challenge is worth it.

Rolex brand perfectly captures Derek Hatfield’s spirit and commitment to excellence and is proud to have him enrolled in annuls of the Rolex sponsored Canadian Sailor of the Year.

Cameron Mathison And Rolex Explorer II Ask What’s Best- Your Time Or Mine

Cameron Mathison

Time is something that we can’t hold on to no matter how much we try and no matter what we do to hold it back. Yet time seems to have a little more control over our lives, it escapes every time we try to hold it back and when we think that we have just claimed a grasp on it time asserts its flexibility. Rolex watches have made a pact with time, and has very successfully captured it within the parameters of design and performance. Rolex watches hold time, displays its accuracy and then goes ahead and styles time in the masterpieces of time keepers that it creates. The meticulous craftsmanship that goes into making time tick in Rolex watches is one that involves a lot of time dedicated research and creative designing.

Innovativeness is the second name to Rolex and when a wearer puts on his watch and compares the time accuracy with other watches, the question asked is- what’s best your time or mine? The only answer that is most probable and also a fact is that since Rolex makes a promise to deliver accurate timing and also keep it, the inevitable answer would be that the Rolex time is the best. Even if the idea might sound a bit far fetched the idea is that since time in the real sense can’t be captured really, Rolex undoubtedly makes the best effort to display its precision. Cameron Mathison as an actor and a TV show hosts understands time in more ways than one. He has fine tuned his performances to a note of delivering perfection because he has suited his histrionics in front of the camera to time. Every moment that is enacted in front of a camera has to follow the guidelines of a good timing, a role and its performance is ineffectual in making an impact if all that it delivers is a staid and done to death rules of good acting. Experimentation is the key to a great performance because it respects the changes that time brings with it and makes a situation adapt to the changes that life has to deliver.

Rolex Explorer II

The Rolex Explorer II asks to be respected for the way it designs a crafted timekeeper around the complicated notion of time. Rolex Explorer II is not only a good looking watch but it also carries around with it an attitude that is noteworthy. Rolex watches never leave much to be asked regarding the fact that here one can view the most accurate timings from the most stylish of watches. The Rolex Explorer II follows from the Rolex Explorer that has made a mark for itself in the field of watches in particular and Rolex in general drawing inspiration from the environment around and making itself adaptable to the most inhuman of conditions. The Rolex Explorer II is the ideal watch if you are looking at catching the right time in all conditions and at all times. The watch is a superlative chronometer and with a date display and a bezel that has 24 hour engraved on it the watch presents a character that is unbeatable. The self winding watch also incorporates a great waterproof system that keeps it water proof to 100 meters. The watch is also crystallized in sapphire and its 40 mm size and steel material finish completes the look of the watch. The Rolex Explorer II sports a white dial that complements its steel finish and the bezel is readily functional enough to read the current time in different time zones and helps in distinguishing day time from night hours.

Amanda Walsh And Rolex Lady Datejust Aptly Tie The Beauty With The Brains

Amanda Walsh

Beauty with the brains is not as remote a reality as it is made out to be. A stereotypical notion that the beautiful aren’t wise and the wise aren’t beautiful is only that, a hackneyed stereotype that has literally been put to death with the coming of the new age woman. Rolex appreciates this reality and shows it when it seamlessly stitches the beauty of its watches with the accuracy of the mechanism that runs it. Not only are Rolex watches uber cool in their designs but they also serve accuracy with as much zest as they promise they will. The Rolex Lady Datejust is a watch that not only enhances the Rolex brand image a notch higher but also ensures that the Rolex brand name stays there. Which other luxury brand can deliver this kind of a combination of elegance and superior mechanism. The Rolex Lady Datejust is not only a watch but a defined luxury item. It carries in it an aspiring quality that people would want to put an effort into for owning. The beauty and the brains of the watch lie in the way it ensures that not only will it dazzle the onlooker with its accuracy but also set the hearts racing with its striking looks. Amanda Walsh is not only an actress but also a former VJ with the Canadian television station MuchMusic.

Amanda Walsh who was born and raised in Quebec has been in love with the camera from a very young age. She also dabbled in stand up comedy for along time going on to win0020a gold medal at the 2000 Improv Games annually held in Canada. Amanda Walsh between creating video comedies with friends and creating a documentary on swing revival was also serving as a waitress. It was while she was on the job that the actress was asked to audition as a VJ for MuchMusic history. She has hosted and co hosted a variety of programs that include MuchOnDemand, Fandemonium and Much Top Tens. The actress found that her acting talents were not to go on waste when she was cast to play a character role in Smallville. Other films that the actress has done include These Girls, Sons and Daughters and is recently acting in Ghosts of Girlfriend’s Past.

The Rolex Lady Datejust is all of 31 mm in size and the fact that such a small dial can actually lock in both a supervised precision in the mechanism that runs it and controls the hands that tick across the mother of pearl finish of the dial is an amazing actuality. Rolex Lady Datejust The diamonds and yellow gold finish of the watch is also striking and creates an impact on the beholder and wearer alike. The bracelet of the watch is a President that also features a Crown clasp. This is another element of the watch that is peculiar to the Rolex house of watches. The self winding movement of the watch is what creates a distinctiveness in the watch that also redefines why the beautiful also have a perfectly coordinated movement running them and adding to their beauty. The Rolex Lady Datejust is also waterproof to 330 feet and is crystallized in sapphire. Set with brilliants throughout the watch and a design that is simple but catches your eye at the first glance, the watch makes life for its wearer much more beautiful. The Rolex Lady Datejust has a date calendar in it that makes time watching a lot easier because it has a Cyclops magnifier. This magnifier ensures that the time in the watch can be viewed even in the foggiest of weathers. The Rolex Lady Datejust is not just a watch but like Amanda Walsh combines beauty with brains.
