Rolex Cellini Orchid

Rolex launched the Cellini collection with an intention to serve to its global connoisseurs a set of watches that would not only rank highly in terms of its design but also in terms of what it had to offer to the end user at the end of the day. The traditional and the contemporary came together in creating the unique Cellini collection of watches and what perhaps another Rolex could have done with its style the Cellini Orchid doubles the effect with its panache and not-too-ostentatious bling factor. The watch likes to display an opulence that strikes the eye but subtly so. The design is grand, ambitious and very exclusive to those who like to wear their wealth on their sleeves, or better said wrists. The Rolex watchmakers claim that the watch is strictly female and the watch also looks like it knows its area of expertise very well. The design and the look have been specifically designed to catch a female shopper’s eye and if a watch can double up as a piece of jewelry then most women would feel lucky to have got such a great bargain.

The Cellini Orchid features a gem set case and a dial that is set with diamond markers. The bezel of the watch is only encrusted in diamonds and form a captivating revolving design around the dial. Rolex has made an offer to its wearers, they can choose from a bracelet that is set with gems if they like their watch to display their love for the dazzlers. Alternately they could choose a leather strap that complements the studded dial perfectly and looks great when wrapped around the wrist. The Cellini Orchid is also fitted with a quartz movement and the 18ct yellow gold or silver finish lends a lot of class to this stunning watch. The sizzling beauty does give a lot of competition to the stunner Natasha Henstridge but both beauties can claim for their own place under the sun today.

Michael Buble And Rolex Datejust; Music That Binds

Michael BubleIf music is what feelings sound like, no one can better express it then Michael Buble. And if such melody were to be translated into the harmony that the hours, minutes and seconds of time create when they play together then Rolex Datejust would perhaps be the best watch to know how to fine tune time. Rolex watches are exemplary of perfection and symbolize the fact that the music of time can touch lives and in the process evoke feelings that bind one human to another. Rolex has long been associated with a tradition of being passed on to the next of kin because like music the Rolex is the perfect catalyst if someone were to spread happiness over centuries. Rolex watches are a possession that one takes pride in owning, they are hour markers that have ticked for over a century and has witnessed the best and the worst of humanity. Like music that has been able to create magic and surpass all differences Rolex watches also aim to make discriminating passé.

After winning the Youth Talent search the young Buble who was born and raised in Burnaby, British Columbia, made music his food, his prayer and his life. Singing at every gig imaginable and lending his vocals to every contest that the times offered Buble’s first TV performance was in the documentary Big Band Boom. Meanwhile Buble had released three albums, First Dance, Babalu and Dream. The albums were not the success that Michael was expecting them to be and so Buble having shifted to Toronto moved back to Vancouver to pursue a career in journalism.

A twist of fate and some chance meetings but most importantly Michael’s perseverance paid off and he released his first album Michael Buble in 2003 with 143 Records. The album hit the top ten in the Canadian charts and three tracks from the album reached the top 30 on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary tracks. Michael toured extensively to promote the album and his efforts paid off when Michael was declared the winner of that season’s Juno award for New Artist of the Year. Meanwhile, Buble also starred as himself in Las Vegas.

Buble’s next album It’s Time topped the Canadian charts soon after its release and the album was also Billboard’s Top Jazz album in both ’05 and ’06. This album also featured the hit track “Home”. Buble’s latest offering to his fans was the DVD Michael Buble Meets Madison Square Garden that released in June this year. His next album is also on the anvil and its first single Haven’t Met You Yet will be released this month.

Rolex Datejust was introduced as early as 1945 as the Oyster Perpetual Datejust that featured a clear date display. In its 64 year history the watch has been enabled with a Cyclops magnifier that helps in viewing time more accurately despite non conducive weather conditions. The steel and yellow gold edition of this watch has a fluted bezel that adds the edge to the watch and a white dial lends the class factor to the Datejust. The watch also has an Oyster featuring oysterclasp that is provided with an Easylink that allows you to adjust the bracelet according to fluctuating wrists that is a common occurrence when the body reacts to extreme heat or cold. The self wound Datejust is also water proof to 100 meters and with a 36 mm dial the watch is crystallized in sapphire.

Diana Krall And Rolex Lady Datejust; Stepping Out Of Time

Diana KrallRolex claims for itself a reputation that spells the fact that it has never let itself be overwhelmed with the reality that it is a watch brand that has to produce 2000 watches everyday and yet its demand from its popular clientele has not died down. Rolex literally steps out of time and makes the worthwhile effort to get its watches tuned to perfection and every technicality that goes into the watch is done to the detail. Such precision comes from the process of the Rolex watchmaker stepping out of time and then turning a critical eye towards his work to make sure that what he has delivered is not just another watch but another Rolex masterpiece. Diana Krall is a renowned Jazz pianist and singer because she too has always had the courage to take criticism as it came to her and wherefrom it came and then she learnt to correct her mistakes and improve upon what people said they liked about her music. Like the Rolex, Krall too is acutely aware of what goes behind every note that comes out of the reeds of the piano or the notes she sings. She perfects on her art, critically analyzing it at every crucial turn it takes and only when she is sure that every note perfectly creates the harmony that she had composed does she offer it to her audience and her fans.

Her performance at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival brought her to the notice of famous bass player Ray Brown and on his advice Diana moved to Los Angeles.

Her first album Stepping Out released in 1993 and this brought her to the attention of Tommy Li Puma who produced Diana’s second album Only Trust Your Heart. Diana’s next album was titled All For You: A Dedication to the Nat King Cole Trio and this album won her a Grammy nomination. In 2000 Krall was paired to tour with Tony Bennett.
