Founded in 1848, Swiss watch maker Omega is known for its precision records, as well as its role in exploring the ocean depths and space. Omega’s rich history boasts of six lunar landings and creating the first divers’ watch as well as the world’s only certified marine chronometer wristwatch. A staple in any watch collection, Omega watches have been seen on the wrists of A-list celebrities, athletes, presidents, astronauts and royal families. Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman and George Clooney are just a few notable figures to sport Omega watches. Melrose.com is proud to offer well-known Omega watch models, including the Constellation, Seamaster, Speedmaster and De Ville, in Stainless Steel and 18K Gold options.

About OmegaAccording to Omega, no watch company in the world holds more records for accuracy. Britain’s Royal Flying Corps and the U.S. Army chose Omega watches as their official timekeepers in 1917 and 1918, respectively, and Omega became the first watch brand in history to be given the sole responsibility of providing and controlling all the watches needed to time all the events at an Olympic Games. Additionally, Omega’s Speedmaster Professional Chronograph was the first watch on the moon, worn by astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
